No Paris photo collection would be complete without a few shots of the Eiffel Tower and some of the famous arches. There are a few below along with photos from the lovely Montmartre and Montparnasse districts, the river Seine, and Les Invalides. This gallery also includes photos of The Conciergerie, a former courthouse and prison, which is now a national monument and museum. The Pont Notre-Dame bridge in The Conciergerie photo is believed to be the oldest bridge in Paris.
Among the cemetary pictures are some from the Père Lachaise Cemetery, the most visited necropolis in the world. It is the site of the graves of Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde, among many other well known figures. Also included are pictures of three famous arches, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel, Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées, and the Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile.
The Conciergerie is a former courthouse and prison. Marie Antoinette was imprisoned, tried and sentenced at the Conciergerie. The Pont Notre-Dame bridge, possibly the oldest in Paris, crosses the Seine. It links the quai de Gesvres on the Rive Droite with the quai de la Corse on the Île de la Cité.
